ALNUS GLUTINOSA IMPERALIS - CUT LEAF ALDER

A tough attractive tree which is under-utilized in the landscape. This Alder is a moderate growing tree with a pyramidal form. The leaves are intricately formed and best described by its name, “Cut Leaf Alder”. It will tolerate almost all soils types once established.

Beyond the norm
A tree that trims incredibly well into a clipped screen or pleached hedge. Although deciduous, the network of branching offers good privacy even through the winter months and looks as attractive and interesting with leaves as without.  An ideal solution where dappled winter light is important.

The Icon Trees nursery covers 50 acres. So that we can attend to your requirements it is important to visit by appointment only; we may not be able to give you access to the nursery without prior arrangement.

 

Our usual opening hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
